After taking a short break to write and record their album, Room 94 are back talking new music and upcoming tours.

Tomorrow see’s the release of the first track from their upcoming album, so I caught up with Kieran, Kit, Sean and Dean to get a little inside scoop on life in Room 94 at the minute

How excited are you to release new music?

We are buzzing!! Its been a long time since we release any new music. We are excited to show the fans what we have been up to.

Burnin’ me out is coming out tomorrow, what can you tell me about the track?

Our new track Burnin’ Me Out is fast paced, a song that gets you pumped up. It includes a lot more electronic/synths than our last album but still has that Room 94 flavour to it. It’s an introduction to the direction we are going in.

Have you got a release date in mind for your new album and has it got a name?

We have an idea in mind, but it’s a secret for now.

What was it like making the album? and how is it different from the previous stuff you’ve released?

We do a lot of stuff ourself, but this was the first time we decided to do the recording as well. It gave us more freedom and no time constraints to rush it so we could just get it done. It meant we could make sure we were fully happy with the songs.

It’s a bit more electronic/synth driven than our last album, but still has that Room 94 sound to it.

Musically, who influences you most?

We listen to absolutely everything!

Have you got a favourite track?

At the moment, Burnin’ Me Out, but it always changes.

You’ve been together as a band for a while now, how much fun is it when you all go on the road together?

Touring is the best part of being in a band. Playing shows, having fans sing back the song to you, and just meeting everyone that supports us.

And of course the partying! We like to party!!

What are you most excited for this year?

New music and touring.

You’ve got a tour coming up in Poland soon, why do you love Poland so much?  

We do, next week we go back to Poland for our first headline tour in a while. We love it out there, the fans are so passionate. Can’t wait to play some shows, and maybe play a new song

Who know why they love us so much… hahaha

Any plans for an upcoming UK tour?

Yes! All will be announced soon.

Finally, if you could take any song that has ever been released and claim it as your own, what would it be?

Justin Bieber – Sorry. It’s a massive tune and everyone knows it!
